1. Her full name is Celine Marie Claudette Dion.

2. She was born on the 30th of March 1968.

3. Celine was born in Charlemagne Quebec, Canada.

4. She is fathered by Adhemar Charles Dion (a butcher) and mothered by Therese Tanguay (a homemaker).

5. She got her named “Celine” from a song recorded by a French singer named Hugues Aufray two years before her birth.

6. At as 12, with the support of her mother and brother, she composed and wrote her first song (Nothing but a dream). Her brother in turn, sent the recording to Rene Angelil, a music manager.

7. Rene Angelil fell in love with Celine’s voice n decided to make her famous, he mortgaged his house to sponsor her album which later became the local No 1 hit and this made Celine famous in Quebec.
