My house is my fortress, and my room is my last bastion. Photo project of South African resident John Tekvreya shows the inner sanctum – a private space of young people from different corners of the Earth.
John Tekvrey

In 2010, John went on a trip around the world to make bright and unusual photos to My Room Project. The concept is simple: shoot the young people born in the 80-90s in the places where they sleep, work and dream. At first the project looked like a hobby, but in the end, “My Room” has become a work of photography, showing the standard of living, preferences and interests of young people all over the world.
